How to Pitch Us

Deadline for submissions: Friday, January 30.


Send us two paragraphs:


  1. Paragraph 1: A good pitch can be distilled into a single, compelling paragraph. 
  2. Paragraph 2: 
    1. Tell us why you want to tell this story and why you are qualified to tell it.
    2. Explain why you think other people will find this interesting.
  3. Share 2-3 photos related to the project (if you have them).
  4. Share a link to your portfolio or other examples of your work.

Once you have all that, send an email to editor@thetbilisi.com.


Note: You can pitch already completed stories as long as they weren't published elsewhere. Please only send a pitch, do not send the whole piece.

Terms:

  • We do pay an honorarium (we just don't know how much yet).
  • We do not own your work, you retain the rights to your assets.
  • We ask for a 30-day publishing exclusivity period starting once the issue hits the stands. Afterwards, feel free to publish it elsewhere.
